SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

Abstract Submission Deadline: November 8, 2026 (11:59PM EST)

Notice of Acceptance: December 8, 2026

Registration Launch: January 15, 2027

Workshops - Submission Guidelines

  1. Workshops may be led by one or multiple presenters.
  2. The chair must submit one overall session abstract.
  3. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. Do not include references or learning objectives in the word count.
  4. The abstract can be an unstructured paragraph describing the issue to be addressed and the format of the session.
  5. The abstract must include 3 learning objectives.
  6. The abstract must include 2-5 references.
  7. The scholarly and evidence-based nature of the work must be evident in the abstracts, as these qualities will be strongly considered by reviewers.
  8. Use appropriate scientific tense consistently.
  9. Only generic names for medications (not trade names) should be included.
  10. Names of diagnoses, structured interviews, rating scales, etc., should be introduced by the full name prior to using abbreviations (e.g., “attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder” first and “ADHD” thereafter).
  11. The submission must not have been presented previously at another national or international conference.
  12. If the submission involves a drug trial or another commercial product, the first author and the presenting author (usually the same individual) must be affiliated with an academic institution and must not be the owner or an employee of the commercial company in question.
